These are from my first real "Bridal Session" with my daughter. Am I on the right track?

I shot about 140 images and came up with around 40 decent images I like. Is that a good percentage for starting out?

Thanks for any help or suggestions you can give.

Joe

I don't have any wisdom to offer...but yeah, I'd say you were on the right track...for sure.
Nice pics.
And yeah, getting 40 "keepers" out of 140 is pretty good.

I like the first one, the second needs cropping, take out the tree bending left and come in on her, keep space around to creat the feel and look but you don't need that much.

Brides and family always like shots I don't. So if it is exposed right they get to see it. But I think your ratio is good for keepers from a photographers eye. But if they are all posed planned shoots it should be higher.
