BUT really how can I tell what the difference is if it is only one picture 'now'

if there was a lot of differences in 3 outputs aren't they all showing up as one in this image

To create the three images as one, I just lined up the three separate image in Photoshop and then used Snagit to capture them. So each would look the same as it did in Photoshop. Since I didn't resize them when saving out of Snagit you should get a fair representation of the differences between the three. They do each look different to you, do they not?

I like #2 the most... well actually somewhere between #2 and 3... the first one is too soft - especially around the eyes. And the third looks too sharp... can make out some noise. Maybe if you take the second one and boost the contrast just a few clicks.

Actually I dont really see any "problems" with any of the images, I find all three are valid statements. It really becomes personal opinion which of the 3 is best.
The only point I see in this post is to stir up opinions which I think you want to argue with. Or that you are also doing a commercial for "Snag-it" since the opportunity was afforded to you by one reply.

I had to look back and forth between 2 and 3 but if I needed to make a final decision, while contemplating 3, I find myself liking 2. The sharpness in 3 crossed the line a touch more than I think was needed. Great shot though. Keep'em coming...

It has been said #2......#2 is way better than #1 but between #2 and #3.... well it is somewhere in between but If I have to choose than #2. Maybe you should think of the image purpose....

number 3 is my vote. she has great complexion, and the sharper of the images shows that very well.

Number 3 has better contrast and it is cropped much better - leaving more ro to the right of her left shoulder
