I thought I would make my first post and see what I need to do to improve. I kind of went for the low saturation look on this one. Comments welcome.

I think it's well lit, nice seperation from the background. I'm curious why you decided to go with the low saturated look? Also how much photoshop skills do you have? I'd clone out the flyaway hairs and touch up under the eyes.

You did a nice job with this photo. It looks soft, feminine, unposed and natural. I don't know if I like the low saturation, though. If you had taken this photograph of my wife or daughter, I would happily pay for it and display it in my home.

Thanks for the nice comments. I'm still learning, so it's nice to hear I'm on the right track.

I think I have to agree with the low saturation. I'll post the same picture without the low saturation and some skin smoothing as soon as I get a chance.
