OK here we go. This is the first post as a live time member on this site. I have liked what I have seen and decided to stay for the long hall. So now that I am a life timer lets see if I can get more feed back on my images

Thanks I am enjoying the ride.

I think her pose is nice, but I personally don't care for the composition. There are two issues I have with it: 1) It looks like she's being tipped/dumped out of the chair. This aspect bothers me more than a little bit. 2) Her legs split the image in half vertically. That doesn't bother me nearly as much as issue #1, but I would re-compose and move her legs to one side of the frame or the other.

I like the overall quality of light. You've got nice shadows on the legs and body. But there's no detail in the hair whatsoever. It's just a black mass. I think you need to get some light on the hair. I'd suggest employing a reflector or mirror to redirect some light onto her hair, or add a hair light (with a snoot, grid, or barndoors to control spill). With her dark hair and the red background I'm guessing an additional light will prove more effective.

Lastly, I think her skin is too soft. I don't know if you used Photoshop, a diffuser, or what, but the leading edge of the chair is the sharpest thing in the image. Her facial features just don't look like they're in focus and I think her skin looks un-natural. There's very little, if any, texture on her foot or hand so I'm guessing you did some post production work. Everyone has their own preferences in this realm and I dislike the whole plastic skin look. If you're a fan, then disregard my remarks, but my recommendation here would be to back off on the post production work. My personal opinion is that if you can tell that there was post production work done, then there's been too much of it.

So, to sum up: The pose is nice, the lighting is decent (just add fill to the hair), the composition needs work, and I vote for less post production work.

yes, the tilting of the chair is akward. Shes missing her left arm, and her right hand is just kind of appearing out of the arm of the chair.

I love the colors and you have a beautiful model. Could you post some different poses from the same set??
