Please takea look and give me your thoughts.

Haven't really worked on high key much so I thought I'd got it a go.
I know the hair drops into the right eye.

Not sure if this one really qualifies as high key.... but its not as dark as most of my images.

Thanks
Dean

Hi Dean!! looks like your heading int he right direction with the high key, however it has a problem..see how the light is bleeding from the background onto her hair? move her farther away from the background or flag the lights between your model and the light, not the background..you might drop them a half stop in power also..
as far as the other image...by the looks of your catch lights and the shadow direction..I'd recommend raising the lights .

you're getting much better....keep at it!! and keep posting!

Don.

Thanks Don, appreciate it. Will kepp working on it. Havent done much of this type of shots. I see what you mean on the hair. Rekkon its back to the ole drawing board. Least I dont have to erase everything

One problem I did have in alot of these images, the eye on the frar side still looked dark, brought in a reflector and it made the cheecks too hot. Not sure what I was doing wrong. Will keep practicing with it.

In the first image, I had a 24"x36" soft box to camera left just a little bit ahead of model and was just above eye level. Hairlight behind model 45 degrees to her right and background light on floor right behind model.

#2 had same set up, but added reflector on the right side.

Model about 4' away from background
