Although the shot was not a serious one it was funny none the less. I hope you enjoy it to. This was a photo shoot with my daughter riding Steele.

I do believe Steele is giving you a personal opinion of the shoot.

Her ears arent perked forward, her shoulders would look larger is her right foot was positioned forward. And she the horse needs a little baby oil lightly wiped on her front of her face. This gives it a little shine temporarily.

How I would light this pretty color of a horse. Usually white, or grey horses shoot best in lower light situations. Anytime you have fog is awesome. It creates mystique, intrigue and sexiness.

To get the horse to perk her ears is easy. Horse have attention spans slightly lower than mine. Soda can on a string with a coin inside slowly dragged. Do this quickly and they quickly lose interest. Another thing that works great with their sensitive ears and you dont hear it. Is a plastic garbage bag tied up like a balloon tied to a string, it blows in the wind, or dragged on the ground. The horses can hear the crinkle of the plastic bag. I have been able to do this even with horses that spook easily. Also be sure to shave the hair that grows in the horses ears if you are shooting for show. I used to shoot horses alot a few years ago.

Fotografir you already know this but this part is for everyone else. For everyone on here, they are alot of fun, you have to respect them. Never place yourself between a solid object and a horse. Horse can spook and do. Getting kicked or bitten by a horse is not fun. My former boss while I was in college has horses and one of them came up behind me for no reason and bit me. For the record I was not the only young male to have been bitten by this particular horse. Mares and Colts are very protected by the herd usually, especially by the mother.

You also have a very pretty daughter.

Cant do much about the rasberry expression. I have had plenty of those. Can't offer any advice but it is funny. Post more and have fun.
