I think photographer sucks, but I would like
second opinion.

As a sub par photographer myself.
And realizing that I have a drawer full of similar shots.
I'd probably agree with your assessment.
Unless, of course, I heard a very good line about how/why the photo is suppose to be flat and fuzzy...

While still learning myself, I would not be too pleased with this one as posted, but with a little PS work (levels and contrast adjustments) I think there is a much better photo hiding in there someplace.

Just my $0.02

Interesting feel to the photo, but like others have said (and I also have a drawer full of these shots), it looks like one where I got back from the shoot, started processing and realized I had the shutterspeed set way to low.

So what would I do...make it a bw image, add some grain, and turn it into a more 'artistic' shot. Maybe this was the photographers intent...did you have a chance to see any of his work before the shoot and was it this style?

Just my 1c.

Ok, thank you for your review. This was MY idea, totally screwed up by the
photographer, yes, I'm agree, this is too flat and too soft (really, it's
not "soft", it's blurry.

No, I don't think this will help. I would rather re-do it all with real
photographer, not with this amateur (he's Russian ... Russian men are always
promise way more than they could possilbly deliver ... lol)

Anastasia

PS. I like your pictures from you last post very much.

Actually it has a lot going for it. With a little "post" work it would probably be a great image for editorial.

Hi anastasia,

Thanks for the comments on my pics.

Regarding the one you posted, I wasn't trying to give suggestions, but was just trying to explain what *might* have happened.

If you're ever near Houston, TX, let's do a shoot (I promise not to promise too much...haha).
