The softbox may have been set too high, but I loved the expression/look.

I like it. You might try to add a color burn layer on top of it just to bump the saturation.

Once I made a 9'x9' softbox for backlighting by sandwiching two strobe heads between some white seamless and a sheet of white muslin... It made for some interesting images even though my plans didn't really pan out. They turned out like yours with lots of fringing. I like the effect quite a bit. Definitely lends itself to experimentation in PS.

Were your model's eyes made up that way or was the blue enhanced in post?

I believe I started with a Multiply layer, but it was 50/50 in getting it to look right for me. Maybe I should try after I have got the image this far.

What color of gel did you use on yours? I can't tell actually. It's probably my monitor.

The eyes are PS, I can see I over did it a bit. I should brush History over it about 30%.

Ahh I see now! I prob have a hard time seeing it b/c I always flood with color.
