I like your use of light and shadow on these and the model is attractive. What might be improvements. Seeing her entire left hand on the first one rather than cropping at the finger joints. The second one looks good but I might like to see a similar pose with her hand showing instead of under her head. The third one has a sexy playful look to it, but the skirt seems a little ackward for the pose. Maybe the underwear from the first shot would have seemed more natural for this pose also.

Well, I saw on your port that you're a student just trying to learn this stuff, and I'd say you're doing a good job of it! All of these are really nice.

The first one seems to hold my attention the most, so I guess that one's my favorite of these. In fact, I know it is -- I like this one a lot. I like the shadow on the wall. I do kinda wonder what it'd look like if you field of view had been shifted down just enough to see the ends of her fingers (or zoomed out a little, or something). Dunno if it'd make it any better or worse, just thinking out loud.

The second one I think I'd like to see your field of view pushed to the right just a bit, moving her head and right arm to the left in the frame more, and the diagonal created by her body would be more complete left to right, IMHO (if that makes any sense at all -- this is all just off the top of my head ).

Third one, the highlights on the forehead seem a tad hot to me (at least, compared with the other two images). I'm not sure about her expression in this one... it doesn't seem as soft as in the other two.

Okay, that's what I see. Either way, I'm still learning too, so take what I say with a grain of salt. Overall I say good work!

Great lighting and contrast!

That shadow..... hmmmmm

Thats the kind of shadows they do in horror movies. For some reason it make me think of Alfred Hitchcocks famous shadow of himself.

My attention goes straight to the the shadow, particulary the tip of her nose.

Cool pictures! The shadow on #1 is a bit distracting but the other two rock!

Ahhh, b&w, a refreshing point of view. But then again, I'm biased, I shoot primairly b&w too, I just think it gives a more intimate feel to the image and subject matter. But now on to your photos. The first is good, but the shadow on the right side of the image is a little dark, but I have the same problem too. The second image, I love, due to the eye contact, my favorite. The final one is alos a strong one in my opinion due to the pose, a bit more playful. Just curious, did you use natural lighting, or was there some artifical lighting involved, either way, the direction of the incoming light from the left side of the frame on the couch adds some very nice texture.

#1, didn't notice the fingers till it was mentioned here, will pay attention more in m viewfinder.
#2, Will keep that in mind for future shots.
#3, Will see if I can get her again, and get her down to just her underwear again.

Thanks

Thanks, it's nice to hear that my learning is coming along.

1, one of those tiny small details of dealing with a small viewfinder in a semi-dark room. Will try and pay a bit more attention.
2. again, will keep that in mind, I think I was trying a bit much to get some more of the couch in.
3. Tell her next time she is upside down to loosen up a bit.

Over all, thank you
