I had a chance to work with this model again, to try to make something of the red and black theme. Your comments on my first posting were helpful and inspired the desire to try a little more with this. I know there are some lighting issues, but I am still a little way off from ordering studio strobes (still undecided on those as well, but that is another topic) and have to work with what I have.

I offer these 2 for your opinions:

1.
2.

Also, if you have a few minutes, I would appreciate your opinions on my re-designed website.

Many Thanks and Best Wishes for a successful 2006 to all!

#1 doesn't really convey the b&r theme, and the seam popping out of her head is a bit distracting. I like #2 a lot. You might consider playing with the reds in PS to see if you can get them to match. I like the simplicity of that image.

# 1 Her eyes are dialated reducing the amount of color int he eye since the pupil is so large. Maybe more light prior to the shot will allow them to close and enhace the beutifully colored eyes.

Both images seem flat or grayish for a color theme - if your useing digital check yorr white balancing and consider your options in PhotoShop.

Just keep shooting it will allfix iteslf.
