... to run into the shop and grab her a pair of latex gloves to snap on. That would have been *perfect* with a really mean look.

However, this happy look works, too:

"I'm Feeling Better Already"

I'm especially proud of the tiny little fill reflection on the curve of her behind. She has a *marvelous* behind and I thought it deserved a little emphasis. Her left thigh looks a little thick: Would it have been better to turn her whole body, or to turn her leg, or what, to fix that, do you think? Or am I being too critical? Comments welcome.

Looks like she's leaning on something but there's nothing there. PS work or just a pose?

I'm with you brad, she just doesnt seem comfortable here. It's more or less just a shot to me. Nothing really grabbing my eye. The arch in her back her hands placed like a forced pose. She could do with drinking more water too to soften that skin. Sorry StMarc

Just a pose. This was the shoot I posted the message about a while back where due to some lunkhead forgetting his camera bag, the whole thing was shot with a 50mm f1.8 prime. The only way I could get all of her into the frame, since my studio's not that big, was to have her bent over. That one's obviously not full-length but the pose was designed to get her all in the frame. Here's another example of creative posing:

"She'll Fix You Right Up."

Why are you sorry? *You* didn't take the picture. I appreciate the comments. I don't think she looks particularly uncomfortable: it's obviously a pose, don't get me wrong - people don't stand around like that - but as poses go it seems fairly pleasant. I've been wrong before, I'll be wrong again.

You're right, she needs to work on her skin. I have to find a way to diplomatically say that.

I had a girl come to me in the hopes to be a model. I diplomaticaly told her that she needed to go to the gym and loose her tire. Then I diplomatically bought her gym membership in the hopes this would spawn an mutual connection and trust. She still wishes to shoot with me but I cant use her sad to say, lest I do a lot of PS to remove the tire. Buy her a bottle of water and tell her that this is her friend hehe.

Well first off her expression is OK but the pose doesn't do it for me. Other nit-piks is that she does fill out the outfit (bust wise) and I would crop above the knees. The lighting is flat and even, I guess that's what your were looking for. I would prefer some shadows to add depth in your photos.

Model just doesn't seem to fit the nurse thing. The white outfit is a harsh contrast here. She may be too tall as well for the pose. I could see her in a light colored (maybe a bright color) sports outfit like a tennis outfit or something with a racket in her hand. That would be cool! Send her back for a clothing change, give her a drink to relax and I think you've got a hit!

If you can't re shoot her sometime, you might lighten up her shadows on the side opposite the flash.

Adapt and overcome.

Overall I like both images. She doesn't look uncomfortable, she looks posed. Nothing wrong with that.

The only nit that I have to pick is that *in both images* her left leg is locked. I'd like to see her left foot brought a bit forward in relative to her, and her knee just unlocked.
