The pose in #1 is very static. She's standing with her hips and shoulders square and level. She really looks quite uncomfortable. And the light is too flat on her stomach.

#2 is great! I like the pose, the lighting, and her pretty red hair. The only thing I see that could improve the image is to work on the fold/crease in the skin on her left side. That's a very nice image; well done!

I actually agree on #1, and see now that crease for the first time on the second one. Maybe a little photoshop is in order?
