Hello Shailen,

You has some nice, soft, flat lighting and a beautiful model. I like your use of depth of field to isolate the model from the background.

Two things I noticed right away.

In the second picture I think that the pose is making her right arm look a bit flabby at the tricep area because of how it is being pushed out. I have the same problem a lot of the time when I use this pose. I don't really know how to correct it other than not using the pose except for someone who is extremely lean. Maybe someone else has some pointers on how to get rid of that tricep bulge.

In the third image I am immediately noticing a small catchlight dead center in the pupil. Are you using an on camera flash for fill or something here? If so, I would suggest getting something setup to get the flash off of the camera and slightly higher and to one side.

All in all they are nice images, but I wanted to stop and make some comment about them since I saw you had a lot of views but no comments.

Daryl

Very well done! The skin tones really pop-out of the dreary background! My only suggestion would be to find a way to soften your fill light, to minimize the harsh shadows that it's throwing onto the model. A diffuser would help, or bounce it off a piece of foam core, etc.

My favorite is #1. PS out the hard shadows and you've got an outstanding image!

Nice pictures. I'd crop the first and the third ones differently (legs??).
