Nice collage/montage. I always like doing these. Here is one of mine:

I only use Photoshop for the final cleanup, but use another tool for the actual creation of the composite, frames, etc.

Cheers,
rfs

I've always noticed your photo montage/collage's, and wondered what computer program you used to create the interesting shapes and designs for them. The index card shapes are another cool look to that.

I use a program called FotoFusion

link to fotofusion website

If you click on the ShowMe link on the left you can then view the first film which shows how wonderful the program is and how easy it is to use. I have the Pro version (not the Print version - which is too expensive).

cheers,

I like it, but it looks like you might have missed a small brown streak that runs down into the center models forehead. I might also try a little softer brush or reduce its opacity so the transition is more gradual to the background. I like to use a brush with low opacity and make more strokes so I'm only erasing a little at a time in areas of transition. I would probably also paint back in the background to cover the building behind the car, but once again I like it.

Thanks. When I created this montage I did it with each individual photograph before it was assembled to the background. The image with the model and the toy soldier was done with a diagonal zig zag motion to create streaks throughout that particular photo, which allowed for the brown background to show through part of the transparant areas.

I have since re-edited the montage to put a color photo in place of the black and white one.
