It’s a slow night, so let me quit lurking and post this for your critique.

It's a nice shot and seem well lit. I'm not sure I like the hand disappearing in the bushes, however. I think I'd have cropped more of the bush away as it now dominates too much of the scene and doesn't add anything to it. The DOF worked nicely in your favor and blurred the wall to reduce its prominence.

Cheers,
rfs

OKay... so since I wrote commenting on the wrong "posters" picture... sorry about that...

Anyways - I love that image you posted... just... I would've liked to see the same girl, the same lingerie... lose the red jacket and the plant of course... and THAT, my dear, would be one hot momma! lol It'd be a very hot picture

i think that colour pops out very good. very pretty model.

i think her against or near the wall minus the plant would be a good call. plants are nice, but i think the distraction is the hand reaching in the plant.

the wall with her skin tone is remarkable.

That's a great image. I agree with the other comments on the plant. I would also consider not having her hold her shirt so tightly. It makes her knuckles stand out and her hand look bigger.

Usually when I post an image where the model has this same sort of nuetral expression, I get driticized for lack of expression, but it's also usually exactly what I want the model to give me.

so, were you trying to convey something that lacked too much emotion ?

If not, get her to smile a bit, play with you and the camera. Keep shooting, have fun and let her have fun too.

Just my 2 cents, though since i'm just a GWC who was recently told to sell his camera, my 2 cents is probably really only worth, 2/10 cents.

gorgeous model. personally, i would'a cropped it tighter. the disappearing hand looks like... i dunno, like she's got a dog on a leash and the dog's doing its business in the bushes. if you crop it tighter, you might rotate the image so the masonry lines are level... or maybe not.

Hey great pic, looks like you had fun doing the shoot! Maybe we could hook up some time and I can get some great pics to update my portfolio.
