Another set from my work with Kristen Caron over the weekend. How am I doing here? Comments? Critiques? Business ideas?

Greg

I usually like a little more background separation myself. Nice poses overall.
Photo #3 seems to have some marks on her legs to the left of the bikini bottom.

not sure my light saber would be any match for this sith lord. (or should that be sith lordette?)

and yes, there's an intentional double-entendre of my use of the term, "light saber." heck, it might even be a triple-entendre.

What do you think? More hair light then or should I go for a background light?

I think in this case a background light, but often I just experiment with each and see which works best for the overall lighting set.

I really like these.

Creating extra separation from the background isn't something that would bother me particularly, but I personally wouldn't light the background because I like the effect of the absolute black. I might try adding a slight rim light to her body with a couple of large reflectors on either side and just behind the model, but it's not a big issue for me.

One little nit-picking thing that irritates me now that I have noticed it is the use of the black frame with the black background. I can't get past the feeling that somebody has cut her legs off. Maybe a thin white line on the inside edge of your frame just to separate the framing from the background. Just my own personal preference though,

NICE!
