Ok all,
This is my first post for critiques and suggestions (I've posted some on other sites, but at times get 'critiques' that are not useful).

This was my first try at a bikini shoot and I'm interested in your opinions.
One thing I WOULD like some suggestions on.
- Outside shots used a gold reflector - how do I make it less 'gold' and keep the model from squinting too much?

Thanks!
CT

Camptown:

Nice shots and a beautiful model. I don't think your shots are too warm. It's definitely better to err on the warm side as cooler tones make the flesh look gray and lifeless. One note on shot 3... Her folded leg looks enormous! The foreshortening has turned her leg into one large mass and then is topped by a very large knobby knee (and it looks like she has great legs in the other shots!)

Nice work.

I agree with bluefrog. The outside shots look fine as far as using the gold reflector goes. Nice skin tones. If you want to take it down a notch you can always decrease the REDs using color balance in PS.

On the last one I would have had her arch her back a bit more and form a curve that way. Also bring her head up some more. I think that might give the image some more power

In the second to last one I would have pointed the knee and fingertips away from the camera. That might make the shot work a bit better.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for sharing and keep posting.

Best,

Allen

Good images, noting the previous comments from Allen & Blufrog, about posing. Let me offer this in regards to gold reflectors...you gotta love what they do to the skin, but you need to correct for the eyes and teeth...so they look white not gold, otherwise the model is not going to like you
