'Cause we work so ever so closely, I'm gonna be honest with ya.

I love the B & W images (though I am partial to B & W - so that makes me a bit biased) I really love the first image. It's "super nice." I'm jealous, I want one too...

The colored images I think need better "lines." There is lack of feminine curves. The images are not becoming to the model.

I'm not keen on the make up, but I've seen much worse... The mismatched undies and bra pattern ain't doin' it for me, and that bracelet should not have been worn. It doesn't fit the image and it detracts from the wardrobe.

I will rate these images, three happy faces out of five. You can beat me down later when we next work together.

I absolutely love the first one. Right down my alley.

It's starts to fall apart from that point on.

Number 2 is ok but bothered by her thigh and that is a result of the pose.

Number 3 you could have played into the static wall behind her instead of the door that is distracting.

Number 4 is tilted and vertical lines and things become distracting. I am a fan of straight forward poses but the scene is not working for me.

Whats up? Thanks for taking the time to give your 2 cents. I have some questions. Number 3...in the doorway, are u saying that I should have put the model in the empty space? I can visualize that and I agree, totally better shot. What was I thinking? Number 4 with the lines...I think that it may be that there is some distortion there making the lines wierd- I thought I straightened it-is this one of those instances where you need to use the speherize/pinch filter to fix the lines? I have encountered this before, but didnt know how to correct it.
Please respond-I really appreciate it!

Yes on number two. the key hole on the door is what is bugging me the most and I think you could have opened the door and posed her in the blank space and let the model stand on her own.

I got killed on horizon lines recently and it is a pet peeve of mine too in certain instances.....you can arbitrary rotate the original image and then crop inside to get lines even. Start with your original image, select all then go to "image" "rotate" "arbitrary" and type in 1 2 3 4 5 or so on until you rotate the image to get those vertical and horizontal lines straight. Then crop and if you have to, fill in the borders in the background with ps.

Hope this helps.

JT

Hi guys.
I am brand new to this site, although I have lurked around here for quite a while now. This is my first post, and although I cant post any images yet (dont have a site to link to) I really wanted to share with you a Photoshop tip that I picked up recently from a UK Photo Magazine. Sorry I can't illustrate it with an image yet, but it is pretty straightforward.
The following procedure was given for getting horizon lines level:
First select the "measure" tool which you can find in the submenu of the eyedropper tool.
With this tool you can draw a line along your existing horizon.
Now when you use Image>Rotate Canvas>Arbitrary, the exact angle by which the image needs to be rotated is shown automatically in the rotate canvas dialogue box. All you have to do is accept the result.

I thought this was pretty cool - hope you find it useful.

Regards,
Kevin
