Yulianna and I found this gazebo and had a little fun with it. We used the doorway to naturally frame her, but I'm not sure if I cropped in too closely or not enough on the different sides. Opinions, suggestions, or questions?

I like everything about this shot but one thing. The angle the shot was taken looks off because of the archway behind the model is out of alinement with the front archway. I maybe wrong but overall the shot looks good.

You're not wrong. I spent most of my time with this trying to crop, rotate, realign, and square the image. I cropped so tightly because the 4x4's on the side didn't appear square with the facia. Then, because I was positioned off center to the doorway and needed to correct approximately 1 degree of tilt, the problem was exacerbated.

But the angle and perspective problems aside, the color now seems a little cool and boring to me. Maybe I should add a layer about 30% orange or amber color? Something like this?

The amber tone helps and actually darkens the background enough that she stands out more. I have come back to this image many times because there was something that bothered me and I could not decide what it was. It is the attitude look she has. I would expect to see something more inviting on her face, she looks ticked off. I like the concept etc. Thanks for sharing. JMHO

Thanks Mike. I'm going to take the blame for her ticked off look. There was a fountain and a waterfall nearby so she couldn't hear me giving her direction. The look is probably irritation because she had told me at least three times to speak up.
