ARTHUR:
Eh. You are indeed brave, Sir Knight, but the fight is mine.
BLACK KNIGHT:
Oh, had enough, eh?
ARTHUR:
Look, you stupid bastard. You've got no arms left.
BLACK KNIGHT:
Yes, I have.
ARTHUR:
Look!
BLACK KNIGHT:
Just a flesh wound.

Interesting take with the different colors. I think the bluish tinted one is too cyan. I think if you go for more of a Selenium looking style print...it will look nice also. Just my opinion. Keep up the shooting.

Back in the days when photographers still used dark rooms...LOL. We use to tone prints, obviously everyone knows Sepia toning, since it made its way into the digital world and was one of the most common toning methods. Selenium toning was another method. One thing Selenium toning did was it lengthened the archival life of a print. That was one reason why it was done. But Selenium toning can also produce a "split-tone" photograph on certain papers, creating an image with silvery highlights and rich burgundy shadows. Which did give a print somewhat of a purple tinge.

I would think somewhat of a sepia tone would be nice, wouldn't be as harsh as some of the hotspots on the B&W shot... or go with the Andy Warhol many color version wouldn't hurt, and for the response to "What are you gonna do BLEED on me?" .... why not a red tone???? ..... IM INVINCIBLE!

Good day sir knight

Sir Jason of GPCB

(A B&W shot just looked better in the Sepia, didn't make the harsh look as harsh)

Maybe something like this....5 minute try.

The color should be very subtle.

Don,

First, that's a lovely and very elegant image.

Second, have you tried using duotones for BW conversion? Duotones (and tritones and quadtones) can really add something to a shot, especially when you're outputting to print.

This shot is the quickest one I could find, I think it's a tritone, they come in all sorts of different hues but you can see the effect.

Again, beautifully done.
