I took this on Sunday and really like the picture and a great model to work with, but it seems like it's missing something, maybe too flat, I'm not sure, any ideas on how to get this image to "pop" a little more? Thanks.

Bill,

If you have Photoshop, playing around with the curves and saturation might give you waht you're looking for.

Well I think the composition is a bit off, myself. The crop is too tight in my view. If you apply the rule of thirds to the photo, you'll see what I mean about the basic composition. Here is a possible re-crop:

But even this doesn't work perfectly. You'd need to crop in the camera while applying the basic rule of thirds. My example moves the lips into the proper zone for the rule and also improves the cropping of the arm. I also did a small s curve adjustment with curves and warmed the photo up just a bit.

Cheers,
rfs

I don't mind the croping of it. I like photo's with something different. I think it's all the natural based colors that's making it look flat. Do you mind if I try to enhance it some? If so e-mail me at model4jobs@yahoo.com. --Paula
