Am I on the right track with any of these? What do you think of the images?

I think this is a great use of natural light and a good time of day to shoot, the second one in my fav. really good exposure on that one, but they are all nice.

Set your D70's color mode to "Vivid" next time and try with manual mode. I like the first one with bit more saturation. Nice pictures!

You're on the right track. We need more life in the models.

Try watching your break lines to not go through heads. I think you will find the composition more pleasing as a result. It's not really a rule, it's just ends up being more pleasing when you keep this in mind.

Make up is weak. These images would be better if we had decent make up.

The light quality that you have is going to show more facial flaws.

The first image, the model's neck is too low. Her neck is scrunched now.

Second image....glamour pose in a casual outfit?

Third image....If you're going to have the model open up her shirt, well let's see some cleavage for form and shape. I say this only if the subject is going for that look.

Over all.....on the right track so keep shooting down the rail.....

Thank you all for the advise and encouragement. I'm learning quite a bit from everyone and keep trying to put everything into practice.

JT - I'm in Utah and seriously considering taking one of those spots in the Las Vegas Super Shoot. Thanks for the advise.
