I have been working on conversion methods for making modern digital look like vintage film. Here's my latest results.

You got it. A fellow fan?

The next line, as I recall, after my quote is from his companion, Rose: "Don't mind him. When he gets stressed he insults species."

Vintage photos. Vintage shows (well, if you count the 2005 season of the show part of the vintage set).

But I have to be frank... (you don't know where I live do you? )

I like your shots for what they are - but the "vintage" part is missing...

I don't see the connection.

But then again, I often times miss the punch lines to jokes because I am ignorant to certain things.

Could you clarify your meaning as far as the term "vintage?"

I could have been more clear here.

I am working on processing to get the photos themselves to look more like they were shot on vintage films. It's part of my project to develop vintage pin-up photographs. At this point I am just converting some recent photos to get a conversion I like.

I should have a shoot in the next few weeks where we will get the clothing, pose, and make-up going in the right direction. A local model is keen to do this and wants to model some clothing she has developed in that vein herself.

So, for now, I am looking for comments on how the process is working. I could be off the mark on the conversion too. I'm still trying new things.

Greg

PS- I -do- know where you live... online!

Here's another conversion:

BTW- I think my conversion is currently getting me closer to the 60's. I need to go back about 10 more years

LOL... Yeah pretty much...

A person has to respect the internet and it's ability to help pass long hours at work watching over dollar figures all day...
