Trying to apply what I learned at HTL. The beach in Seattle is not the beach in Florida. Yesterday was 60 and windy as all get out.

Your critiques are appreciated.

Best Regards,
Darrell

Mainly the nose shadow is bothering me. This is not "sweet light," but by turning the face you could place the shadow in a more traditional position, i.e. modified butterfly. I think I'm also wondering about the close cropping. Why go to the beach at all if you aren't going to show it? Beautiful model and the light is flattering her figure. Thanks for posting.

A bit too contrasty and the lighting tends to overpower the scene. Its not consistent between what is falling on the model and what we see in the background. I think the shot is a little over sharpened. The whites of the eyes have a little too much red in them which should probably be retouched. Cropping is a little too tight for my taste, especially for a beach shot.

Cheers,
rfs
