I haven't been spending as much time as usual in the forums, but I still managed to read an occasional post in my few free moments this week. Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I gathered that you were unhappy with your photography and you were going to experiment more and post less. You may have been correct that your work was all looking the same, and I commend you for experimenting. I'm also glad that you were convinved that you should continue posting, otherwise we wouldn't have seen this step forward in your work.

I really like what you and Deanne have here, since it is an improvement on nearly everything you two have done, except for the bodyscapes. While this photo is good and I get the theme, the backdrop could be more effective if it were a background. Put a desk or something back there to help the office with fantastic diffused light source theme. In other words, make the set look realistic and let the lighting be the only hint it's a studio.

Very nice work from both of you. Keep posting and experimenting--the worst that can happen is your experiment doesn't work, like this one of mine (I still like it though)...

Hi Don,

I really like the pose and angle. Nice work. Glad to see you posting again. Angel looks beautiful in this photo.

Hey Don! Is it me or is this one of your best images yet? Hey... you're not taking my lighting advise about the soft-box... ARE YOU!?!?!

This has the best "feel" of all the stuff I've seen from you IMHO. I do agree that the BR needs some fixing to better seperate the sholders from the BR. Kick up the power on that back strobe a stop or two and watch your centering.

Good stuff dude.. keep blasting!!!

-Craig

p.s. Sorry I missed out on the "jeans" pissing match!!! I LOVE a good flame war!! HooRAh!

Really nice work. It has a great feel to it. One SMALL observation, and I almost hate to say it. The wrinkles near her nipple are a bit distracting to me... and maybe it's JUST me. Again...really nice!

I picked up on that too Steve.....I would drather it wasnt showing at all....but it was the only one from the shoot that had everything else come together so I settle on a wrinkled nip!

Hi Don!

I don't see anything wrong that you don't already know. I don't often comment on stuff for some of the same reasons as you. However, Good bad or otherwise. If I like what I see, then I will say so. And I like what I see. Very nice!

Thanks
Rick
