So I shot with Goth model and designer Tracy "Batty" Robertson a week ago and asked if she knew a particular model that had modeled for her named Jacqi. I mentioned I'd like to shoot with her. So the wonderful, talented, and charismatic Tracy contacts her and offers to style the shoot.

I wanted to shoot a pixie in the woods and Jacqi wanted to do Gothic Lolita. I've posted the first of the pixie photos in another forum, so here's the Gothic Lolita. Tracy said pirate is all the rage among little girls who are into Gothic Lolita, and this is one of her new designs.

For those of you like me who have no idea what Gothic Lolita is, think a cross between Goth and Anime with a bit of kiddie porn thrown in.

Model: Jacqi
MUA/Stylist: Tracy Robertson

I am not an expert, but it has been my experience, that when wearing hats and tilting heads, a little more light in the face helps to reduce "circles" under eyes. I don't know... just a minor observation. Your MUA can only do so much... She can't take out deep countours of the face but so much... (though I could be wrong). I see a lot of shadow.

The shadow the hat caused on her face was the biggest detail I had to watch. Hadn't really noticed the darkness under the eyes, good catch.

I only see it in 2 of these pictures, do you see it in all of them?

Umm.. yeah, but it could be something that can't be helped - I'd ask one of the "experts" about it.
