I shot this yesterday afternoon at home in the studio.
At first, I wanted to do a bondage shoot, but the fiancee, who is also my art director poo pooed that idea. I guess I'll return that rope to Home Depot tonight, oh well.
Anyways, when this set of images first popped up on the laptop in Nikon Viewer, I was quite happy with them. The model, Tennille, actually added them to her port on another site a couple of hours after I emailed her the proofs, she loves them.
There are a tonne more which I'm working on, but I need some opinions of what's right about this image and why I should like it more, or what's wrong about it and why you think that there's something wrong with it.
Personally, I was kicking myself for not getting her to take off her freakin jewellery, I always forget that! Stupid, stupid, stupid! But I digress. Again, I'm trying to figure out what's to like about this shot. I'm ready to scrap the whole lot of them and start again.

So if you could ladies and gentlemen, let's hear what you have to say.
Take care,
Craig

I would suggest more mood in lighting, more girl curve, and the fabric flowing top down. She could hang on the fabric.
Good idea.

The shots really good, any other's with a different expression on her face ?

But why is her left hand blurry. DOF or possible accident when you dropped in your sig. on the photo.

The hands are distracting. The splayed fingers draw a lot of attention. Also, the models right eye is cropped slightly. A classic view of the face would have a bit of skin beside the eye to contain it. I'd just have those two suggestions.

Love the image but we have learned that you should show all the leg or crop in the middle of the thigh.

Something about the shadow on the back of her right hand. It makes her hand/fingers look very short, if you don't see the angle at first.

Thanks for the input everyone.
The blurred hand is because I was buggering around with Gaussian blur, and saved the blurred version for posting here. That was unintentional and I'll repost some other from the same shoot, once I get them cleaned up.

Deann,
Ordinarily, I would agree with you.
For a glamour or fashion shot, but this shot is for use in her fitness portfolio and her thighs needed to be included.
Actually, I'm not a big fan of the above the knee crops, is sometimes makes the model's thighs fatter than they really are because they are take out of context from the rest of her leg.
Personal preference I guess.
Thanks for the input.
See, here's the above the knee, and I think it works in this one.
