You're getting a classical pin-up look pretty handily now. You both have shown a lot of improvement in technique in a short time. Congratulations. I think the second is the best of these - DeeAnne has a lovely smile there.

Thank you J...we had a really awesome shoot lastnight not sure these are the best of the series because there was so many that she posed and smiled so well. I think she was in a groove lastnight...we sat down here to the computers at around 9:00 pm...and she asked if I wanted to shoot..so Im guessing she had a mood going...because she sure made it easy for me..

Hi Don,

My favorite is the first one. It has an "All That Jazz" appeal.

An Aside: I have to get me some heels like that!!!!

Zairia!! I think DeAnn is getting a bit Bossy during our shoots!!!
the last image...we both wished we had captured a better smile on it, but she I was shooting from a different angle than this and she said...get over here on the floor...and shoot up...I want some LEGS!!!!
darn directing models!!! dont you hate when they are right!
she made me shoot a bunch of angles lastnight...pssst dont tell her...but alot of them came out really good!!
Don!

While DeAnn was taking a break...I decided to play with my 10 degree grid.
not sure about this one, but I was just kind of playing with it...
Don.

My favorite pose is the first one, but the hair light created some odd shadows on her face shining through her hair. I get that alllll the time and hate it, because there just doesn't seem to be anything you can do to fix it once it's done.

My other fave is the first one you posted alone where she is standing and the shirt is tied. Love it!! Want to put that one in my ideas book.

Your right Cinn....Im finding that hairlight to be a real booger to control.
I think Im going to try JimmyD's route of booming it over head..
Im going to figure out a way to diffuse it maybe...experiment with that unti I get control over it!
Don!

Your lighting system is going to be so much better than mine, that you're going laugh when you come down here. I've been kind of, sort of, barely in the beginning stages of thinking about better lights. Mine have worked well for me up to this point, but I was trying something new in the studio today and just didn't have enough control to do what I wanted. Soooo, I guess it's time. But just time to start thinking, slowely, about researching new lighting systems.

Have a good night!
