How did you set up the lights for that shot? Guessing light to the left and reflector to the right? Still learning so i may be completely wrong, but i love the highlights on the side.

Well Dean..on the lighting I took the advice of a very nice man that has been kind enuff to give me great advice and wonderful critiques. I actually cant believe someone is asking me about lighting!!!! Anyway I am very limited on lights..so I had my main light fairly close to the camera on my right set metered at 5.6....I used my other light as a hairlight set at f8 it was behind her and back about 8-10ft to my left......then I used a AC Strobe for the background light flagged with black foam core....it didnt completely blow out the background so I had to do that in post!...like I said Im limited on lights.
anyway.....thats about it in a NUTSHELL....thanks again!
Don! P.S...if your shooting against a white background its fairly easy to create a mask using CHANNEL MIXER and Alpha Channels.

Here is a link to the Channel mixer masking technique...you'll have to scroll down to the "Photoshop 7" tips...and find the one called Advanced Masking..its a rather large movie download.....but its well worth it!

I like the image over all, but have a few questions and nits.

What are you leaning on? Is that a chair back? Just looks a little out of no where.

While I definitely like the curve of your rear, it is sliced off just a little from the crop. I'm also not thrilled with the tying of the robe. Seems a little unnatural.

Love the colors and your hair looks great.

Thanks Ron, Yes it was a chair I was leaning on, the robe is also tied on the inside so when we pulled it up the whole thing came around. Learning everyday and love the insight.

Thanks
