After months of trolling....My first post.

I've been trolling around here for months now, picking up what I could from some of the great models and photographers on this site. Have I kissed up enough yet? This is my first go at "Glamour". This was taken with an Nikon N80, 80mm lens @ f8 and Fuji Astia slide film. Yep I still love my film. Especially Astia. I develop the slide from home and scan with a Nikon slide scanner.

Feel free to beat me like a rented mule. I can take it.

Thanks for your input.

I like it. It's soft and sexy at the same time. The only thing I see that is slightly distracting is the candlestick. It seems to be growing out of her head. Great model. Love her eyes. Just my opinion

This is a very good first post. I really like the lighting, her right arm might be a little hot, but not bad. You have her posed very well, no problems there. I really like the eyes, and the mood of the photo. Thank you for posting.

I thought the light stand might be noticed. I thought of taking it out but I wanted to see what people thought first. I'd also have to remove it's shadow.

The model is very conservative and I wanted something that she would see as attractive and sexy in a real sort of everyday way. What ever that means. Something she'd be proud to show her conservative friends.

Thanks for the comments. She does have great eyes. They are an unusual olive green color.

Great Shoot.
As for the light stand it not all that bad. It does clutter the back round how ever. Left arm was talked about. Just a wonderful image, over all please do share more of your work Please it a real treat.

Thank You
LARRY

I like it, I think you captured just what she wanted. In the color version, the light, candle stick, whatever it is doesn't bother me. But in the black & white, which I like better, it does bother me. I'm kind of strang that way.

Great first post.

Pretty much everything's already been said about the image, so I guess I'll just say it's a great first post!

I'll also say that I wish I could develop color film (slide or neg) at home like you do.
