Hi Leah,

nice work. I like the model, poses, oufits and lighting. Not sure about the pink background in #2 (red gel on background strobe??) and its transition from pink to red form top to bottom. IMHO it doesn't really seem to match with the feel of the image. Maybe a darker BG (dark brown, gray or even black) and extra hairlight for seperation?
Another minor point, the wrinkles on the "floor" are destracting on #2

Hi, I LOVE THE FIRST ONE. Very late 70's retro. Adorable!!

I'm not so hot about the second one. I think the way her behind hangs over the chair makes it look bigger than it is.

The third one is very nice. Glamourous. Like out of a magazine.

#3 WOW! That's nice.

I don't really like the other two. The second one has way too much gel and what's up with the wrinkles on the floor? #1 is a little better, but still wrinkles. It's also a little dark for me.

I am not all that bothered by the wrinkles, but based on popular opinion it is definately a bad thing, so I want to fix it. These pix were all taken using cloth backdrops...so wrinkles are inevitable. I have thought about paper, but would the paper fix this? My "studio" is a carpeted floor in the living room, so there is no hard surface to support the person to fix the wrinkles. I have used a piece of plexiglass , but it is not really big enough to make a "floor", I guess I could get several pieces, but don't really have the space. Any suggestions? Some new material or sumthin I'm not up on?

Try to make a shot without that and see if you like it better. If you don't then don't change it. It's kinda hard to make a flat floor when you have little room. I would use the plexiglass.
