I really like #1
Just maybe a little hot on her back? Also, the heels of her shoes are cropped out of the image, and as in all fetish style images the props play a role, no?
Just what I see...

#2 - I was never a huge Madonna of the '80's fan. Sorry. Like a virgin my....

My personal preference is the second image. The lighting is more sculptural; the exposure is better; the colors - especially the skin tones - are more inviting; the model is better separated from the background; and I think the pose is better - she has a cute derriere, but the first pose kind of over-emphasizes it, don't you think?

Nits - I like the hair falling on the viewer's left side of her face, but it would have been nice to light that side a bit more, and to add a bit of light to the darker shadows below her brows, above her eyes.

An aside - I like this model's appearance. Very sensuous, IMO.

Thanks. About 75% of the way through the shoot I remembered a technique I've used before to achive these results in the camera. What I do is set the white balance using a grey card. Then I just pop an old fashioned 81a warmup filter on the lens. Bam! Instant awesome skin tones. Now if I could remember to not be lazy and do this at the begining of the shoot! Oh well, that what color balance adjustments are for, and B&W conversion can always be used as a last ditch effort. Thanks everyone for your thoughts, compliments, and wisdom!

i really like #2. models like her are redefining conventional notions of beauty and glamour. small nitpick: i think you could take the black levels just a bit more to the black.
