Another shot from yesterday with fellow photographer and friend Zaria. She found us some great models!!! This one was excellent and we're going to try to talk her into joining GG. She had never modeled before but was fun, energetic, and willing to try anything as you could tell form Zaria's earlier post where we had Emily stretched between two columns. Please let us know what you think of her look.

Also, let me know what you think of this shot.

hi cinn,
i like the image. the vinetting(sp?) or natural vinetting(sp?) really keeps the focus on her face. A few things I think could improve on the image is her mouth looks a little crooked possibly because her head is turned so far. I also think that the shoulders should be rotated just a hair toward the camera. The face is a little red compared to the chest but could easily be fixed in PS. The focus looks dead on. Congrats and keep posting.

Jim

jim touched on the mouth thing. i have been dealing with that a lot recently too. i have been talking a ton of photos and not liking how the mouth is positioned 90% of the time. i think i am going to go back to shooting fruit baskets, at least they dont have mouths. lol. anyway.

not that this is a "bad" thing its just more of a preference. but, i kind of question the framing. is this a head shot? is this a upper torso shot? i just might have gone in a little tigher. i know this puts this kind of shot back into more a classical type head shot(not wanting to take away from your artist prefrence to position her in the upper right 3rd of the frame instead of centered). but i just though the silver chain straps were distracing me away from the story you were telling in her face and eyes (maybe if she slipped the straps down just for the head shot?). am i supposed to see her chest am i looking at her eyes? i am feeling so conflicted!!! lol..

seriously its another great photo. keep on mashing that button.

I like the shot if its for a magazine give room to place writing if it wasn't then I would tighten up the shot. Keep up the good work you'll only get better.
