You'll see a lot of black & white from me from this session. My metering was off a little.

nice. I like it. is that a backdrop? i think i'd blur her just a touch and see if she looks more like she's in the scene. If not I still like it.

Thanks for the comments. I was beginning to wonder since nobody had said a thing about it. The backdrop is from Joe's Photo on E-bay. It's become one of my favorites. Their backdrops always photograph great.

I like it, the vintage bags add a nice feeling. I would put a little more distance between the model and the background and try a smaller depth of field to blur the background a little more. Very lovely model too.

finally!! someone else from missouri. i was beginning to wonder if anyone else was out there.

the photo works for me. at first look i had thought you were on the street somewhere. the ground at her feet was the only give away. the image tells a great story. the only thing i might say is that i think she gets a little muddled in with the background(especially at the bottom of the coat). make her coat have more detail/contrast. different color maybe. or adjust lighting. or maybe that detail is there on the full size originals and i just cant tall at this resolution. great job.

I Love B&W Anyway as you can see from my pics(if you like) I would phaze out the backdrop a little more and lighten up the feet and the bag a little.

Just my thought

I'm from Sullivan, down 44 past Six Flags. Zaria is from the other side of the river, Belleville. And there is a guy named Wade who is from St. Louis.

I looked at your portfolio and just absolutely have to know where the Rt. 66 bench is!! I love it!!

Anytime you want to try to work together, just let me know. I'd love to work with someone else.

Thanks for noticing the bags. I just bought those last week at an antique store. I had this idea in mind then. My husband and I were walking around the store pushing and proding and checking suit cases to find the ones that we felt would be sturdy enough to sit on.

I'm not a photographer, but I really like the photo! I love the background, looks so much like an old trainstation. Looks like a still from an old movie to me.
