Comments always apreciated !!
To me, I find her hands bright and distracting. I tried to tone them down some, but still not happy, but I love the rest of the shot. What do you all think, not just about the hands but the rest of the shot.

IMO opinions, yeah. altho A) i think you could crop this tighter and B) i'd still like to see arms (she looks kinda amputated). do you have one with, say, her hands on her hips or with her elbows angled out?

No, her hands were so white any of the shots that showed them just didn't work out. Your eye went straight to the hands instead of the area I was trying to capture.

well that sucks. i guess you either live with the it or try to figure some way to reduce the luma on her hands without it looking obvious that you did so. that's kinda beyond my PS skills.

I like it. I don't find the hands distracting. If you do you can fix them in photoshop though.

I love the low key! As for the hands, maybe you could have her slide her hands back on each side of her neck, under her hair (as if she were fastening a necklace), then spread the elbows a bit. The lightnesss of the hands would be hidden under her hair without messing up the beautiful symmetry of her hair style. Just a thought. --Randy

DUH!!! Now why didn't I think of that! Great idea. As soon as I get a chance and someone willing to bare their butt I'll try it again.

Another option would be to put her hands under the fabric that is darkening the rest of the shot. Say on her hips or rear. Then they'd be the same color as the rest of her.

Since the eyes are drawn to the color of the hands you could use that to direct them somewhere in the picture. I'm not sure where though.
