A GG model. Shot with two hot lights from the back and a fill flash to the front.

It looks a little cool. Maybe next time try a custom wb. I like the effect of the light in the background though.

Mike

This one's cool on purpose.

The fill flash was actually your main light and flash on camera is almost never good. Not to mention it's underexposed. You could have done without the light that's showing and used that for your main light.

Keep plugging away.

Lighting doesnt' work for me. The strobe in the rear blinding, and then the light on the model appears flat.

There is a book that I was looking at that shows different variations in ligthing techniques and one of them was to have the brighter lights at the rear of the subject. This was my attempt at giving that a try. After being contacted by another annonomous GG member, I have reworked the photo and came up with this rather than just use his version which is a good retouched version. Thanks for your critique, it is appreciated. And thanks to the annonomous photoshop help.

That's much better but I still don't think the visible light in the rear buys you anything in this context.
