yeah, there's definitely some problems with tonal values. but i thnk your composition and framing is pretty much right on.

the way she's looking down, she looks like she's concerned about falling. i think the image would have more impact if she were staring straight at the lens with a, "what? you've never seen a naked chic in a tree before?" look on her face.

btw, you did come up with this shot, right? you weren't taking a hike in the woods and came across a naked chic in the tree, were you? i mean, she was with you, right? if not, where is this forest? [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]

im an amateur so im not yet experienced to critique but i think you did a good job. i dont think i would ever meet a chic that would climb a tree and pose, especially in that kind of weather.

I am new to glamour and may not have the experience to offer a critique but I really like this shot. The angles of the models arms and legs offers such a great contrast to the verticle lines of of the trees. Nicely done.

Seeing that you are based in New York City I was wondering if this was shot in Central Park. I would have rather seen this than "The Gates" [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

I agree that this is one of the most unusual shots I've seen in a long while. Love the dark hair -- blonde wouldn't have worked. Do you have any more from this series before she turned completely blue and crashed to the ground like a Christmas ornament? --Randy

Wow! She must be strong. I know I would have difficulty doing something like that. I think it is a great picture. The color in her legs let me know that it is really cold out there.
