Very cool. I think Black and White would work well with this image too.

The leg color slightly bothers me...btw.

Hi Nat,

Hmmmm....looks like she's, uh, branching out in her career, eh? I hope you weren't barking orders at her. You really went out on a limb with this shot and it appears to be a hit.

Sorry. Couldn't resist. Great shot! Thanks for sharing!

Good day!

Mike

Thank you. Definitely one of the coolest models I have ever worked with. We shot for several hours. Here is one of the last shots of the day.

Number one--Your model rocks!!! And how you got her to sit in that freezing water is way beyond me.

But I'm going to rain on your parade of praises by asking the question--Why is she in the tree? What is the purpose of her being in the tree? In my personal opinion the only thing that would make this image complete is by showing us the reason she's in the tree. Wolf at her heels? Skunk at the base of the tree? Don't get me wrong Bro, I like the image alot. I just think it's incomplete.

He he he...I think it is obvious that she was terrified of the photographer.

I don't think I have to come up with a reason for photographing a beautiful woman in a tree. There should be a little mystery, in my opinion. Maybe she is a panda bear?
All kidding aside, we thought it would be an interesting idea.

Thank you.

Nat

PS - I know you have a reason for her sitting on the hay - so I won't ask.

Sometimes the whole point of art is to make you ask why.

Great answer...Nathaniel

I get confused when an image gets questioned on "WHY" it was done...

WHY are women photographed in a doorway...in lingerie...back arched...and looking at the camera with those "I want you right freekin' NOW" eyes...It's the MYSTIQUE...cuz it ain't real life...

I've been married 21 years and not ONCE have I come home after a hard days work and found her half nekkid in a doorway...bad luck I guess...

Love the shot...with or without the skunk!

And how did she get down from the tree??????????????
Big hand for the model she did a great job for you!
