Both of the images look flat to me, I would cut back on the amount of lighting and start working with shadows to create depth.

I agree...we are planning to reshoot tonight or tomorrow and try some different lighting techniques. I think I simply had my fill to camera right too hot...new lights...new meter...another learning curve. I appreciate your comments.
