These are two models I photographed last summer. I did some work in PS to draw focus to them and reduce the distracting backgroud. Please let me know what you think. like the models, don't like the blurring - first one dark. Use DOF from cam. Blurring uneven; gets model's arm. Others will tell you to make your pics for critique bigger - I won't because I'm not sure of the exact dimensions...jimmyd?

Imstead of trying to blur the background out, why not try and desaturate the background a bit then brighten up the models and add some saturation to their skin. I would think this would make them stand out far better than the blur effect. To me, it's looks like something I would expect from a cookie cutter mall studio.

First, I LIKE THEM, and so here goes: #1 is too dark. Blur on both is a bit distracting and a little overdone. Composition is nice, good poses, and makeup/wardrobe fit well together. Colors are vivid (moreso in #2) and inviting to the eye. A bigger image would make it easier to add any more, but that's what I see from what you posted. KEEP EM' COMING!
