Whites of the Eyes

I'm happy with this image, except for the whites of the eyes. Any other criticisms? Lighting too flat?

Hi Bill,

Great photo. I agree about the whites of her eyes. I always prefer to have the model's eyes looking at me when I look at a photo unless it is a dreamy/mood type shot. I also find the hair over the eyes distracting. If it completely covers an eye as part of the effect I think it's okay but when you have the eye cut in half or more but still visible between the strands of hair I also find it distracting.

I've had this same issue with a number of what could have been great photos.
