After I posted above about critiquing the critics, I realized I never got GG critique about my latest shoot.



Yes, I realize that the highlights are blown-out, but as I perused current fashion mags, I have to say that this is not at all unusual in current commercial shots.

Tech info:
Nikon D-70
All window light
A *very slight* blue filter applied to cut some of warmth of the image.

I really like this shot. And you are so right about current trends. Good job, I can see this in a full page ad in any number of Conde Nast publications.

ed, i like the blown-out highlights in this shot.IMO, they absolutely work for this image and certainly reflect current commercial trends. the only thing that i'm lookin funny at is the pink color cast on her blouse.
