This is my first attempt at glamour. Model is my wonderful wife who is very supportive of everything I do. She's not really fond of being in front of the camera but she does want to see me succeed so she helps by being my model for the day. Feel free to let me know how I can improve. Thanks, Tom

I think its a good first try. This is a nice pleasant portrait type shot, but the lighting is a little flat almost as if you used on camera flash or the light right by the camera. The cropping is a bit tight also in my view. Experiment with setting up a lighting ratio to help add dimensionality to the shot. This can be done with two lights or one light and a reflector. See Rolando's tips section for some classical lighting diagrams.

Cheers,
rfs

Thanks for the critique. I was using a hot light instead of my monolights because she is a blinker. My camera makes a clicking noise just before the strobe fires and she reacts to that. I have tried having her close her eyes, count to three, open, etc... with no success. I appreciate your comments and value your input.
Best regards,
Tom
