The photo seems a little tilted. I no sometimes its done deliberately but it doesn't seem to work with this shot. The lighting is a little flat, and there doesn't appear to be a catch light in the eyes. A bit of fill flash or a reflector could help out here. This would espcially help to give a bit more light on the face. The pose is a bit awkward or maybe contrived is the better word. Why is she touching the hat? Is she trying to hold it on? And she doesn't seem happy. In this kind of setting, a pretty girl looks best with a happy smile on her face not a frown. I hope you don't think I'm being hard on you !, but these are all the little details that need to be considered when you shoot glamour. I like to think that most shots tell a story. So always look at the pose, the locations, the lighting and see if you can take a photo that combines these elements into a believable story or situation.
For example, in the shot you have her hand on her hat. Have a big fan blowing on her or a leaf blower and the hair could be seen being whipped by the wind. Then she would press harder on the hat and we would have a story that made sense for the pose. But all stories don't have to be obvious. You can leave it up to the viewer to supply their own story, but you must have the elements of your photo consistent enough to allow that to happen.

For example, what is the story told by this shot?

Or this one?

Cheers,
rfs

Positive:
Love the depth of field. Her outfit is nice. Pretty Model.

Negative:
Both of her hand placements seem not comfortable. Her expression doesn't say anything to me. She's not saying anything with her eyes.

Fix:
As the photographer, it's your job to pull those expressions from her. Talk to your subjects as you shoot to guide them and maybe capture a nice candid laugh or moment. Previsualize what you want. If you don't know what you want before you press the shutter, take a moment and ask yourself what you DO want from the shot before you take it. Do you want her happy, serious, sad, sexy, flirtatious? Once you know what you want(say, a nice smiling image), then you can take steps to achieve what you want through talking to and directing your model. Without previsualizing what you want, you'll never be able to direct anyone with confidence as you yourself don't know what you want. This is meant to be constructive criticism. Go forth and create more imagery...and repost.

You'll get no better at this asking some of the guys here to be easy on you. I have a love/hate relationship with the critiques I get. But, I take the advice well and apply the input to see how I like the end result.

I am by no means as good as some other guys on here, but here goes my advice.

It looks like you shot this with the lense below her eye level. I know sometimes it's hard to do, but the results of shooting below the model are rarely pleasing.

There's a string hanging down from left arm. I know what it is after I looked at her right, but it seems out of place.

Pose. This shot would have been a lot cuter if you took her to the other side of the tree and had her lean on it with her chest about 45 degrees from camera plane. Then have her tuck her thumbs in the waist of her skirt. Well, at least that's how I see it.
