I was trying out a new filter in Photoshop on one of my more abstract images.

All comments appreciated.

Very artistic, kinda cool, don't get it, but still neat!

Have to comment for someone so close (?!) to home

Took me a few seconds to get it but then I kinda liked it. Might be cool to have a bit more of the model in the shot and maybe a little more recognisable. I also wouldn't mind seeing the lightning a bit more forked as though it were real. Hmm, what I mean is, the fork gets thin quickly, might be good to have one thicker line running down to the girl.

Now i've said that I should qualify that I am far from an artistic genius! I used "might" a lot because they're just thoughts. I struggle drawing stick figures...

I like the filter, nice easy way of getting good storm photos without getting wet (if you aren't averse to a little artistic licence)

cheers,

adam

Thanks for the posts, I appreciate the effort.

Like I said, this was one of the more abstract images, having more of the model in view would have made it more of a "model" shot than an abstract. I posted this on another forum, quite a few people were baffled by the image, failing to recognise what to me is obvious. Some still don't get it even after me tellig them what it was.

In regards the lighting, I agree, I need to make it less "forked" with a stronger middle bolt - I just have to figure out how

(by the way, everything except the lighting in real)
