Your model/models, very nice indeed.

Your first photograph shows some merit. The pose and angle are apart from the normal that we see every day. But the lighting, clothing color and focus of the photo, needs work. (in my opinion, Some may disagree)

Now she is well lit. but if you arranged your lighting differently, so that you highlight the model/subject and give less attention, less light, to the background, you are on your way to being able to lead the viewer's eyes to see what you want them to be looking at. A smaller depth of field would help. the background being even more blurry and the model in sharp focus. Or background more bluury, her legs less blurry and her eyes in sharp focus. ( experiemnt, its fun and surprising)

The clothing isnt bad. But the color takes my eyes right to it, my eyes first went right to her the pink in her hair then to her pink shoulders, then lips, then boots.

Now if this is what you wanted the viewers to look at, her hair piece, shoulders, lips then boots. You hit it right on the money.

But if not, (and I am assuming you want us to look at her face, then legs, then ? well, we can adjust our technique and make it right)

To me, her face is gorgeous, and her skin is such a beautiful warm silky brown. We want to bring out that warm beauty and emphasize it.

So, on clothing color a more darker earthy tone , dark brown, or black,or new denim, something that isn't so bright.( trial and error on this to find what works best) It would give the subject what she needs, the viewers eyes to be paying attention to her person, not her accessories/props.

(her outfit in the real world is great. It would draw our eyes to her as she moved. then we would scrutinize her bit by bit, because we are atracted to movement and color by nature.

But in a photograph, we as the photographer have to use eliments to move a viewers eyes around the photo. In this way we make them see what we want them to. And pay attention to our subject or message or feeling that we are trying to convey.

The second photo is a wonderful photo. A portrrait of friends giggly and happy. Love it.

The third photo I love it, the colors, the models expression, pose, i like it alot. But i suggest two things.
ONE give her hair some rim lighting. It will give you a more 3 dimensional look. And I bet you might like the difference.
Two, in the upper right of the photo is the rod that adjusts the blinds, hehe i'd get rid of that because the light bouncing off it, draws the eyes away from that gorgeous model.

I hope this helps.

I hope I didnt bore you.
And feel free to PM me or repost questions here.

Have a great day and keep experimenting,

John
