Curious to get some feeback on this image. I have been trying to read and learn from some really great photographers here. This image was shot with nikon D100 and one very very old movie light. Thanks John

it's kinda hard to really judge this image as it seems to be bit-mapping or something similar... or maybe i need glasses or some Visine. if it ain't my eyes, then i dunno what you did in post when you resized and saved.... do you have the image without that?

I see what you mean, I have no idea what I did when I posted this...it looked ok in PS then I saved for the web so I could load it up . I will have to see what I can do to make it show up better.
Thanks
JS

Looks like you saved the file with compression set low for the jpeg, set it to 12, highest on PS and try again.

If you are using the "Save for Web" dialogue itself then I suggest setting the quality between 50% and 80%. You will need to check the file size for each pic you decide to upload as size varies from pic to pic. Also under the dimesnions tab type in the size you require, this will also bring down the file size. There is always going to be some trade-off with regards to file size vs compression. Hope this helps, if not e-mail me and I'll do my best to help you out.
