Hi mate,

I like your shot and nobody else has commented yet so I thought i'd give you my opinion (for what its worth).

I don't much like the shadows falling off to her left hand side, next time you could maybe move her forward from the background if you have the room so they aren't visible. Also, not a huge fan of the crinkled background (sheets?), I get them all the time in my shots! Try and smooth them out or frame so they aren't visible. Also, watch that big space along the top (esp. the right side) where there is no background - it is distracting.

Quite like the pose (I assume she didn't want her face seen?) but think it could look cool having her look out an you from under the hat some way. I also saw the colour version in your profile and I think I prefer that to the B&W.

cheers mate,

Adam

tanks for the comment.

yes, you've guess it right it's bed sheet i used for background, it was my first session in photo shoot so I used what I have. For the space on the top I thought of removing with post treatment, but I haven't found time to do it.

This picture was just a small test. I will take all your comment and try to improve myself

Thank you again

First of all let me suggest you shoot with this model as often as possible. She has a great figure and seems very expressive.

I think the big issue with this image (for me at least) is the lighting. I know you do not have pro strobes available, but there are things that can be done to improve the look with a on camera strobe. Move her away from the background, difuse the strobe with a white sock, open up the Fstop, use a tripod, find more available light (through a window)

Just keep playing with light and camera settings and keep photographing that girl.

model credit: Leigh Ann (Dallas TX)...shot with only available light, reflected with a piece of white foamcore

You might try diffusion and backlights to eliminate shadows....however shadows can give a very professional touch if they are soft and non-constrasting from the subject.
