Ken

Three observations:

1 The pose. She's twisted around is a very tough pose to make look good. You could move her left foot forward so that she's not so twisted up, but retain the look.

2 The lighting. You're on black -- but the light on her face looks a little washed out. You might bring a bit more fill from camera left and add a full stop to the aperture.

3 The shirt. The shirt where is intersects her breast and her arm makes too many angles. I'd either lose the shirt -- since her arm provides some modesty -- or I'd pull the shirt down. Me, I'm into losing the shirt.

Thanks Bob
That’s very helpful. Especially #1&2 the pose and lighting. During the shoot it was getting very warm so the shiny face may have been fixed with a little powder, I dont know. I also like the advice on changing her footing, although I do like that butt. Loosing the shirt I actually came to the same conclusion myself, first it’s all bunched up and it wasn’t hiding any thing anyway and second modesty wasn’t a problem. I’m curious if you meter different for blonds VS brunettes. Thanks again.

Excellant suggestions Mr Warren.

I'd also try folding the lower part of the shirt over the top instead of bunching it up, so it gets rid of alot of the wrinkles yet keeps the overall idea of the photo the same.

An assistant holding a diffuser in front of the model wouldn't hurt either.

A fan blowing on the model's front, moving the hair up and out some.

So many possibilities here.

The pants, I'd lose the pants. (Sometimes I am evil) >:-D

Ken,
Bob's bang on with his suggestions and so is everyone else.
I would suggest diffusing the main light on the models right as her face is a little "hot".
To answer your question, I do meter differently for blondes and brunettes. We use different makeup for blondes and brunettes as well.
Every model is different, look, personality and pigmentation. When in doubt meter, that's what I always say.
Good shot, nice model.
Keep shooting and posting.
Take care
Craig

Thanks Craig
I agree it's all good advice. Looks like loosing the shirt is unanimous. Lot's of room for improvement, at least practice is fun.
