Does the crop work, it was 3/4 body shot that was to clutterd for me and the hair was blow out. Still from my one and only studio shoot, next time I'll meter better. Guassian blur seem to mute the blown out hair a little bit. So what's working and what's not. I appreciate any comments.

Hey Ken,

Nice shot. Just a couple little things. Like you said..the hair is a little blown out..have to be carefull with blondes..I have done the same..but, what is more distracting is the hair looks a little green on the blown out side. Was this intended? Doesnt appear so. I like the catch lights in the eyes. I an slightly neruotic catch light freak. The crop works for me as well although..I would have come down slightly below her chin..Personal prefference on that one.

Hey, talk about green cast. Wow, way too much on my monitor, but the first one wasn't. (?)

Honest to God, that's what it looks like to me. Everything else looks okay, so I don't think it's my monitor, but hey, what do I know. It may be one of those unexplainable freaks that drive us nuts because they don't hit two people the same way. So what the hell, forgive and forget, huh?

Thanks for the critique Michael
I agree with you on both counts, crop lower on the chin would probably be better and the green cast in the blown hair. What baffles me is that I didn't see the green cast when I posted but I sure do now. I tried to get rid of it by increasing magenta and decreasing green, but it's still there. I was trying to salvage a pretty face but otherwise crummy pic. Maybe I should just start over. Love your shot and don’t worry about posting something from your portfolio, unless you just want so show off. I love catch lights in the eyes too, without catch lights they could be devil eyes. I'm just happy to have an honest critique. This green thing looks like its going to me my nemeses.
